not sure how they can win over 81 games if their #2 starter doesn't at least win 14 games. For the record, I think the Reds win around 84-85 games and I think Votto gets more than 100 games for sure. Potential ROY, in my opinion.

Jimmy, we need to look no further than last year's NL Central to get an example of a team that goes over 81 wins without the benefit of a 14-game winner. The 2007 Milwaukee Brewers won 83 games and did not have a single starting pitcher with more than 12 wins: Jeff Suppan, Dave Bush and Ben Sheets all had 12 wins each and Claudio Vargas finished the season with 11 victories. I look for Harang to win 16-18 games and am hopeful that both young arms (Cueto, Volquez) finish in double-digit wins. Arroyo is good for 12 wins in my mind as the Reds finish with 85 wins on the year!!!

I was about to agree with Jimmy on the Arroyo win total, but you made a good point Dan. I'd rather have five guys in double digits than two with 15+.

I think Junior will play more than 120 games and he will be as much of a difference maker as Votto and Bruce.

Cueto may not be able to keep his ERA that low, but he could lead the team in strikeouts.

I'll go with 78 wins, under 120 games for Griffey, under 30 HR/over 30 SB for Phillips, over 90 RBI's for Encarnacion, over 100 games started for Votto, Bruce call up after 6/1, Harang over 200 K's, Arroyo under 14 wins, Cueto over 3.75 ERA (I'll also go with less than 100 IP), Bailey call-up after 6/1, Cordero under 10 blown saves.

Agree with most. I'm taking the under on 200 K's for Harang. Over the 3.75 ERA for Cueto. I think it'll hover around 4. He's young and will have at least 2 or 3 outings where he just gets crushed. Happens to the best of young pitchers.

Bailey and Bruce after 6/1. Especially Bruce. If they wait until 6/1 the clock on his arbitration won't start until next year. That's important to a medium market team like the Reds.
