Tinker's Moment of Truth

Did anyone catch Fox's new reality game show, Moment of Truth tonight? The very first contestant was former UC Bearcat football player and special teams guru, Tinker Keck. Remember him? I sure do. He's going by Ty Keck now. Well he had to answer some really awkward questions with his gorgeous (and I mean gorgeous) wife watching. One I breathed a sigh of relief on was whether he received a good grade because he was a member of the football team. He answered correctly and truthfully that he had not (thank goodness). So, Tinker was about to get $25,000, answering several questions that will likely cause him much drama when he gets home, but then lied when he said he's never inappropriately touched female clients, in his job as a personal trainer.  He left with nothing, including his dignity.

Well just thought I'd post this as I'm a reality TV fan in general and found it funny to have a local sports tie to this new show, which is like watching a domestic dispute. You can't turn away, but you feel bad for enjoying it.

Anyone that goes on that show is a complete MORON. Everyone has skeleton's in their closet that are bad enough to lose friends and family over or at the very least cause severe damage that may never be healed.

I didn't see the show but if that guys wife is that gorgeous and he really loves her then he has to be a MORON to be willing to lose it all just for money. Her knowing he touched women inappropriately might cost him more financially than he would have won and the cost of a failed marriage goes without saying.

For the life of me, I can't understand what would possess someone to go onto a show like that one. I'm glad they do though, it's damned entertaining to watch.

The worse question for him was, Have you done anything that would cause your wife to not trust you. To which he answered (honestly), yes. Yikes. I agree, why would anyone go on this show? It's fun to watch though. I wish they'd speed it up a little though. The melodramatic pauses, etc. make it too slow. Tinker should've waived fair catch instead of trying to run this one out, in my opinion.

His wife did tell him to keep going though. Not only did she want to hear his answers...but she wanted him to win the money too. Had he won any, I don't think he would have seen much, if any, of it though! Ha!
