Dan, just because you look like him, doesn't mean you have to over inflate Big Ben. Well, you didn't really over inflate him that much, but come on. You'd take him over Carson? No way.

Pittsburgh's offense is more balanced than the Bengals. Cincinnati's inability to run the ball and Carson's insconsistency this season has dropped him on my board. Sure, Palmer has the potential to be a No. 1 pick but the numbers don't lie.

ROETHLISBERGER
32 TDs, 11 INTs, 3154 PaYd, 204 RuYd, 2 RuTDs
--PaTD in every game (except weather game vs MIA)
--9 multiple TD pass games
--5 games with 3+ TD passes

PALMER
26 TDs, 20 INTs, 4131 PaYd, 10 RuYd, 0 RuTDs
--3 games with 0 TDs
--7 multiple TD pass games
--3 games with 3+ TD passes

I don't care about your QB comparisons. How the hell do you rank D. McFadden at the top of Round 3? As the former Associate Editor of College Football, I can tell you McFadden is an absolute stud.

But we don't even know where he's being drafted at this point, and to whom. Miami has the #1, but has made it known that the pick can be had for the right package.

Let's assume, for now, that the Dolphins take him with the #1 overall. McFadden still with have to contend with Ronnie Brown who should be healthy entering 2009.

That's too many question marks right now to step out there and say he's going to be worth more next season than guys like T.J., Plax, Jones-Drew, etc.

Rookie RB's have a long history of success and in recent year 1st round backs in particular have turned out to be fantasy forces. No way he ends up in Miami. Ronnie Brown is one of the team's few locks plus they still have Ricky Williams under contract, an early round pick from last season (Lorenzo Booker) and two productive journeymen in Samkon Gado and Jesse Chatman. The Dolphins have bigger needs.

McFadden is a stud and will be a fantasy factor in '08, but that's ok I hope more people think like you. That way I can get him Round 3, just like I did Adrian Peterson this past season.

I remember people telling me when he went to Minnesota that Chester Taylor and a lack of a QB would make A-Pete overrated.

Only time will tell.
